Print Shop

In 2008 the decision was taken to make a substantial investment in our own machinery and become responsible for the publishing process from start to finish. Our Blackpool office base underwent major redevelopment to accommodate the printers and other machinery necessary to create our leaflets, cards and handbooks. Work started in August 2009 and the Print Shop became operational in November 2009.

Within 3 months we had transferred all our bespoke artwork files to the required format and had negotiated the transition to running our own printing and delivery service. Powered by 2 Xerox 700 docutech printers, we moved from outsourcing to bringing 95% of all the printing we did in-house. Consequently we have been able to improve both the quality of our printing and the service we provide to hospitals, with almost all card orders being dispatched within 24 hours of the order. We are able to accommodate full colour design on all our products.

Not only has this enabled us to become more efficient with our printing we can now offer all our clients and new customers a very competitive printing solution. We can print any quantity of stock from 10 to 10,000 and beyond. For health service clients we can provide your stationary, notices, posters and much more all on our specially manufactured paper/card which includes anti-microbial technology clinically proven to kill 99.97% of bacteria that come into contact with it.
